Behaviour support FAQs.
What is a PBSP?
A Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) is a written plan, based on a functional behaviour assessment, that explains why behaviours of concern happen and sets out practical strategies to support the person and reduce the need for restrictive practices.
Who can make a referral?
Anyone: support coordinators, families, carers, participants, SIL providers, schools and other allied health professionals.
How is behaviour support funded?
Behaviour support is usually funded through the Improved Relationships budget in an NDIS plan. We work with agency, plan and self-managed participants. Not sure what is in a plan? Ask us and we will help you check.
How quickly can you start?
We respond to every referral within one business day, and most participants start within 2 weeks.
